		<description>i have four auto-immune diseases.  (yikes!, huh?)  the first to manifest?  psoriasis.  now, while i&#039;ve cursed the psoriasis for 25 years, i&#039;ve also come to regard it as a marker of inflammation.  that is to say:  when my psoriasis is red, inflamed and painful, i know something is going on *inside.*  so i&#039;ve been making gradual changes to my diet for the past couple of years and making note of what works and what doesn&#039;t.   (and for the record, one of my other auto-immune diseases is Multiple Sclerosis, so...i&#039;m pretty clear on when things have *really* spiraled out of control).  i&#039;ve drastically reduced or eliminated entirely processed sugar, foods with a high-glycemic index (bread, potatoes, corn, white rice) and increased my fruits/vegetable intake to a minimum of 6 servings/day.  all of that has helped quite a lot; my psoriasis wasn&#039;t getting too out of hand, but it was still there.

and then...then i started eating 2 eggs/day for my lunch (with two veggies and a fruit).  and after a couple of weeks, you know what happened?  my psoriasis started to spontaneously clear.  so i did some research to see if the eggs had something to do with it, being as the addition of them to my diet was one of two things i&#039;d changed.

so that&#039;s about the eggs.  the other thing i changed?

i added a whole apple to my morning oatmeal.  i eat organic oatmeal, no sugar added.  so, with some cinnamon and a whole apple in my oatmeal, that&#039;s my entire breakfast.

so, with all due respect, i must ask:  eggs and apples as inflammatory agents?  really?  i know what i see on my skin--it&#039;s an excellent visible marker of inflammation.  and it is disappearing faster than ever before with the help of those two foods.

i think you are most definitely mistaken with those two foods on your list.</description>
